Celebrities came out in full force to support the Charities at GBK Oscar Lounge.
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) February 24, 2009 -- GBK introduced a new way to give and the Celebrities certainly appreciated the opportunity to meet the various charities involved. GBK's Academy Award Gift Lounge- "Circus of The Senses" held on February 20 & 21, 2009 at the SLS Hotel donated 20% of Proceeds to its Benefiting Charitable Organizations: Director Antoine Fuqua's Fuqua Films Program; Homeless Not Toothless, Hollywood Dreamz, and Worldteam Foundation.
Actor Adrian Brody said, "The only reason I came to this suite was to support the non-profits."
Numerous celebrities, VIPs, and Media came out for the same reason. While there, they also had an opportunity to experience 'A Circus of The Senses' as they touched, felt, smelt, tasted and walked their way through this Academy Awards Themed Gift Suite. They started out by seeing a magnificent Oscar themed cake from Hansen's. With help from Freshwata designs, and flowers from My Flower Guy, each gift room represented the theme and décor from a 2009 Academy Awards Nominated Best Film: 'Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' 'Frost/Nixon,' 'Milk,' 'Slumdog Millionaire,' 'The Reader'. The SLS Hotel provided hors d' oeuvres and sweets from famed chef José Andrés, including homemade Bon-Bon's topped with "Oscar" Gold Dust.
